Our Story — How Batparo Came to Be
A platform built not by outsiders looking in, but by people already watching the match.
Batparo was founded in 2019 by a team with one shared frustration: the online betting platforms available to Pakistani players were all built for someone else. The interfaces assumed you wanted to convert dollars. The payment options were complicated. PSL coverage was thin. Live cricket odds updated slowly. Customer support was robotic, impersonal and often in the wrong language entirely.
The founding team decided to build something different from the ground up. The name Batparo — a nod to the cricket bat and the quick, agile sparrow — was chosen to reflect what the platform was meant to be: fast, sharp and at home in the game of cricket. But the ambition was always broader than cricket alone.
The first version of Batparo went live with PSL betting, a small but carefully curated cricket betting section and basic slots — all denominated natively in PKR. Easypaisa and JazzCash integration was there from day one, because we knew these were how Pakistani players actually moved money. That early decision to treat local payment infrastructure as a core feature rather than an afterthought set the tone for everything that followed.
By 2021, Batparo had grown into one of the most talked-about platforms among Pakistani bettors, with live baccarat tables, virtual sports, Andar Bahar, and a full PSL season of in-play betting behind it. In 2023, Batparo crossed 500,000 registered players — a milestone that meant something, not just as a number, but as confirmation that the original bet on building for Pakistan first had been the right call.
